The Mackenzie Valley Environmental Impact Review Board is a co-management board responsible for the environmental impact assessment process in the Mackenzie Valley. The review board is aiming to enhance their current site’s usability, add a new Online Review System, and create a Public Registry System.

Approach
After reviewing the requirements, the team began to come up with the initial development plan and design. Having experience with rebuilding sites to Drupal 10 we began with migrating and importing the data from their current site. The team presented the detailed designs and wire-frames of the website along with the technical functionality. The team worked closely with the board at every step in the process to insure full confidence in the product.
Result
A modern, responsive website upgraded to the Drupal 10 platform (previously on Drupal 7). With the added security benefits the new site also comes with an easy to use content management system, editors can freely customize and edit at their discretion. The site comes with a variety of pre-made templates to add life to any and all pieces of content.
The site also features an Interactive timeline that displays the length of the project and each events duration in a serpentine flowing pattern (view the timeline here). Along with a user-oriented public registry that's easy to manage and seamlessly integrates with the online review system.
